Ah, the "Bandaid" or "slot" view...! ;-)

Unless the screen is viewed VERY large, it

still makes no sense to me - an' it sure

makes shooting a tall, thin building

kinda hard...;-) Reasons against: most

TVs are still 4:3; using 16:9 with

most cameras reduces resolution and

complicates editing. At some point, I

guess, we will all switch over, but for

me, that will only be with my first

16:9-native video camera, which will

probably be HDTV...
